This residence brings together technological and sustainable elements to improve its inhabitants' quality of life through their everyday use of the space and their way of living.
The residence is to be developed on a practically regular 900m2 site with an upward slope of 5m, in Tlacopac San Ángel, Mexico City.
The concept uses apparently simple lines and shapes, predominantly rectangles and cubes, to create functional spaces.
The architectural layout seeks to integrate indoor and outdoor spaces through open floor plans, breaking down visual barriers with glass facades, screens and visual focal points.
This concept is reflected both in the floor plan and in the project's different facades. The purity of the forms is emphasised through materials and finishes including concrete and steel for the structure, tempered glass, white aluminium panels, natural wood screens and grey marble wall cladding on the facade.
The window and door framing also allows the spaces to open by 80%, providing cross-ventilation in almost every area and making it possible to regulate the temperature when needed.
Double facades and screens were developed to protect against solar radiation and screen unfavourable views of the surroundings.
